I was delighted as a huge tennis fan to attend the Wimbledon Tennis History Conference this month to learn all about ‘Trailblazers of tennis’.

Truth be told, I probably read more about tennis than I play the racket sport so this was a great day out in one of my happy places.

I got to meet other tennis nerds, I mean fans, and even pick up a magazine I hadn’t heard of before, Tennis Historian.

There was a great line up of speakers including my favourite podcast hosts Catherine, David and Matt (The Tennis Podcast). I was delighted to present all three with my 2026 Calendar and Purple Rain pens.

The day finished off with a drinks reception in The Wimbledon Museum. Located underground (no Wombles were spotted) it tells the complete history of tennis and is award winning.
